Giclée Prints

Robert's giclée prints are made on an Epson SCP9000 printer. The SCP9000 uses 11 different colored Epson Ultrachrome HDR inks. The inks are pigmented. The papers and canvases being used are specially coated. This combination of ink and either paper or canvas produces museum quality, archival prints.

The papers used are Epson's Natural and Bright Cold Press papers and Epson's Bright Hot Press paper. The canvases used are Epson Exhibition Canvas Matte and Epson Exhibition Canvas Natural Matte.

The Cold Press papers have a textured surface. The Hot press paper has a smooth surface. The canvas is an actual woven canvas.

Giclée prints will stand up to age, air, humidity and UV light rays. Paper prints when framed properly, under glass, can be passed down from one generation to the next while remaining true to their original color. Canvas prints are not displayed under glass, so at least two protective coats are applied after the print is done to insure it's integrity.

Robert's Prints

Robert's prints are signed and numbered, limited edition prints. They are sold unmatted and unframed. They are shrink-wrapped sitting on a piece of foam core that is just large enough for them to lay on, but not large enough to be used in framing.

Robert's prints are signed and numbered in the white space below the print's image.

Framed prints of Robert's works are available at his shows.

Robert's framed prints are matted up to the inked surface of the print, using either a single or double mat. All the materials used are conservation quality. Robert signs the prints he frames at the bottom of the image, not in the white space below the print's image.

Robert can also take orders for custom sized prints.
